The repeater is located in Williamsport, PA at the Williamsport Area High School.

There are multiple things you will here, one may be just rag chewing, you will hear the atomic time at the top of the hour, weather messages locally, connections by hams from around the world as well as weather and natural disaster events if connected to hear hams doing what they are known for as backup communications when things get ugly..

Semi truck explosion in Edmonton, Alberta
Written by IBN01
Sunday, 06 April 2008
It was an interesting day in the AB - Edmonton feed on the IBN TeamSpeak Server the afternoon of 3-31-2008. I was able to record the event starting with the initial dispatch and it is available at the IBN website in the fire audio downloads section.

Here is the article that was in the Edmonton Sun talking about the event:

http://www.edmontonsun.com/News/Edmonton/2008/04/01/5159591-sun.html

Horrified motorists drove off the road to avoid a semi barrelling the wrong way on Yellowhead Trail yesterday, then watched in horror as it slammed into a median and plunged seven metres to the CN railway tracks below and erupted into a fireball, killing the driver.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's one even better. A video of the event:

When you listen to the audio recording on the IBN website, shortly after the units arrive on scene fire crews go beneath the overpass. When they find the cab they announce there is someone still alive and they need a line dropped down. This makes for a very intense few moments
